Karoo Mini Camino Accommodation
We understand the importance of a good night’s sleep!
From comfortable beds to stunning views, our accommodation provides you with a cozy and relaxing space to unwind after a long day of walking.
You will be overnighting on guest farms along the way and a guesthouse in the village of Nieu-Bethesda. These establishments offer comfortable beds, hot water, clean linen, electricity and meals.
Please note that all accommodation is shared. Due to the nature of these establishments and the group experience, accommodation is shared throughout, and single rooms are unfortunately not available.
KAREELAAGTE GUEST FARM
Kareelaagte Guest Farm, our base camp, is a working sheep farm owned by Ina & Francois Botha. These 2 x newly renovated units sleep 5 x people each.
The Unit outlay is as follows:
- 1 x Bedroom with Double Bed
- 1 x Bedroom with 1 x Single & 1 x Bunk Bed
- 1 x Toilet with Basin
- 1 x Shower
- Lounge
- Open Plan Kitchenette with Fridge, Kettle, Toaster, Microwave, 2 x Plate Gas Unit

GANORA GUEST FARM
Ganora Guest Farm, your base camp, is a owned by JP & Hester Steynberg. Two options are available: Oukraal & The Farmhouse.
Please note that your accommodation will be confirmed upon booking.
Oukraal has 4 x units:
- Each room can be made up as 1 x Double Bed or 2 x single beds
- 1 x En Suite Bathroom with Shower, Tiolet & Basin
- Outside Chairs
- Kettle, with coffee making facilities
- Free Wifi
- Stoep with Farm & Mountain Views
- Shared lounge and dining area
- Pool
Farmhouse:
- 4 x Bedrooms, Private Bathrooms
- Each room can be made up as 1 x Double Bed or 2 x single beds

GUESTHOUSE IN NIEU-BETHESDA
In the village, you’ll be booked into a guesthouse offering a large, homely space with multiple bedrooms and shared kitchen, lounge, and bathroom areas, ideal for unwinding after a day on the trail.
Please note that your guesthouse will be confirmed upon inquiry & booking.

- SHARED ACCOMODATION DOESNT INCLUDE SHARING BEDS IF NOT REQUIRED. DOUBLE ROOMS FOR COUPLES SUBJECT TO AVAILIBILTY.
